Why Hire a Photojournalist?
Photographers often specialize in a certain
type of photography. Some consider themselves to
be portraitists, some call themselves fashion
photographers, others product photographers, etc. etc…
Those who call themselves photojournalists are a peculiar
bunch. Often the daily workload of a news photographer
includes portraits, sports, still life, fashion, news. In
other words a photojournalist must be a “jack of all trades.”
Despite the various photographic disciplines involved
in photojournalism, there is one important thing each
photojournalist must have; an eagerness to tell The Story
with truth and honesty. This means having sensitivity to
emotion, a desire to understand and communicate, and an eye
for the “decisive moment.”
By hiring a photojournalist for your next event, you’re
hiring an artist capable of capturing real emotion, every
important moment as well as the full story of the day.
Choosing a photographer is an important and personal decision.
We at Anthony Dimaano Photography would honored to document
your next event.
